About
Held close to the Australia Day long weekend, the Taralga Rodeo & Campdraft is a non profit event with all money raised donated back into our local community. Located just over 2.5 hours drive from Sydney and 1.5 hours from Canberra, you can stay for the day or a while, there is plenty to do and see. Our jam-packed program includes yard dog trials, our gymkhana, Junior and Senior Rodeo. There are a variety of stalls and BBQ food, drinks and bar services available. And finally, some country music. Bring a chair or a rug and sit under the shade of the trees on the family friendly hillside. Camping is available. Proceeds from the Taralga Rodeo & Campdraft are donated to various local community organisations whose members volunteer their time to assist and make the weekend the success it is.
